This is Yu Sheng salad. It is a truly unique Singapore dish and is only available at Chinese New Year. It is delicious. You get the basic dish then add more ingredients with a saying. All of the sayings are based on prosperity and good luck. After everything is added everyone tosses the salad as high as they can and shout out their wishes. The higher you toss the more luck you have!
