Glasgow!

On the 23rd we got the bus through to Glasgow and met Claire and Gavin. After a look round the shops we headed to Mono - a vegetarian bar. It was really cool and Iain enjoyed some of the beers that he can't get in Singapore.

Claire and Gavin took us to a Russian restaurant for dinner. Graham and Lucy came and joined us too but none of the six of us had a clue what was russian other than vodka! Still the food was really good and of course we finished with shots of vodka!!

It was great fun!

Wedding Venue!

On the 22nd we went to see our wedding venue!!! It was very exciting!

We had a full tour of the hotel including the spa. We had our tasting menu with our parents and everyone was quick in agreement over the menu. We managed to get a lot organised and now we can't wait until the 28th of December 2010!

Gym Girl's Christmas Lunch!

Off we went to the Living Room for our Gym Girl's Christmas Lunch! It was brilliant to see everyone again and just like old times except there were four pregnancies so the wine we had pre-ordered had to drunk by the remaining three!! Woo hoo or oh dear!!

Uni Girl's Christmas Lunch!

Iain and I had to get down from St Andrews to go to the Uni Christmas Lunch! It was brilliant with most of us able to make it. We even brought the boys and the kids who were very well behaved! Although the boys knew when to disappear upstairs and enjoy the football leaving us girl's to gossip!!!

Catriona and Kevin's Wedding!

Our first day home we went to Catriona and Kevin's wedding. (Catriona is Iain's cousin.) The wedding was held in St Andrews and it snowed for them coming out of the church! It was very picturesque! We all had a great time!

Home for Christmas!

Iain and I went home for Christmas and got a huge surprise - look at all the snow!! It was unbelievable and lasted the whole time we were home! No one can remember when they last saw so much snow!! Still it was great for snowball fights!

We're engaged!!!!!!

Iain surprised me on Sunday 6th of December when we arrived at The Fullerton Hotel! We checked in and our room looked out over Boat Quay and the marina - great views. The bed was huge that you had to jump on it to get on!

Iain told me he was treating me since I got a new job!

We chilled out by the pool and relaxed. It was fabulous!

In the evening we arrived at The Lighthouse restaurant which has a roof garden with a full 360 degree view of Singapore. We went upstairs

first to take some photos ........... or so I thought!

I turned around and Iain was on one knee! He proposed and it was wonderful!! Iain had a ring made which is absolutely gorgeous! I love my ring!!!

Shortly aferwards the waitress arrived with Champagne to celebrate then we phoned home. Later we had a lovely meal sitting in the bay window of the restaurant looking out over Singapore. It was amazing!

A fantastic night to remember!!
