Jenny and Mark's Visit

Jenny and Mark came to visit which was brilliant! We had a super time showing them around Singapore and introducing them to lots of food. They were really keen and tried chilli crab, indonesian prawn curry, thai chicken, Hong Kong noodles, chilli kang kong and much more! We certainly all ate well and of course we had introduce them to lychee martini's!!

We went lugeing and raced down the hill! Jenny got a good sneaky pass Mark to take the lead! We went to Night Safari and watched the flying foxes and squirrels as well as the fruit bats. We seen the elephants, the lions, the babarussa and more. We visited Chinatown and Little India and soaked up the atmospheres. The list goes on!

However, the most exciting thing was Mark proposed to Jenny and she said yes!!! She is officially going to be a Hogarth despite having been part of the family for years! We are so pleased for them and had great fun celebrating with them!

Formula 1 Race Day!

Sunday 27th of September and it's Race Day!! We started with Champagne Brunch at The Fullerton hotel which as always was fabulous. Euan's first time but don't think it will be his last!

We left and made our way back to the Bay Grandstand for the race. Lewis Hamilton won. There was a great atmosphere and we all had a ball!! Later we partied to the Backstreet Boys on the Padang!

Formula 1 Qualifiers!

Saturday 26th of September and it's the qualifying sessions. We were seated in the Bay grandstand which had fabulous views out over the city. We watched as they sped round the track to see who would make the cut.

Afterwards we made our way up to the Padang to watch Travis live. It was brilliant!! Even Alan and Joan joined in the pogo stick!!

Formula 1 Practise Night!

Friday 25th of September and the start of Formula 1. The practise session begins and we made our way over to catch the action after a quick drink at Boat Quay! We definetly needed our ear plugs.

After the first practise we went to Carnivore for dinner before returning for the second session. We stood and watched the cars race by!

Birthday Present: A trip to Gili Trawangan!

For Iain's birthday I took him to Gili Trawangan. Gili Trawangan is an Indonesian Island about an hour and a half from Bali. It is beautiful and we had loved it!

Whilst we were there we completed our Open Water Divers qualification and we passed!!

We swam with white tip reef sharks, hawke's bill turtles, green turtles, school of barracuda, angel fish, fairy bisset fish, lots of clown fish or Nemo's............ The list is fairly extensive! It was an amazing experience!!

Birthday Party: Part 4: Howl at the Moon

Party time at Howl at the Moon! Iain was brought up on stage for a birthday song and the party area was decorated with balloons and banners. Most of our friends were there and everyone had a great time! What a fabulous night!!
