Birthday pressie from Mark and Imy!

After work drinks in Boat Quay with Euan, Mark, Imy, Euan, Jacq, Maz and Dougie.

Iain also got his birthday present from Mark and Imy! They got him photography classes to go with his new lens from Scotland!

Birthday dinner for Alan (and Iain)

Alan's birthday is 12th of September just three days after Iain's so we went to Sage to celebrate. We had a lovely dinner and the boys had birthday desserts! Alan was definetly shocked by his birthday present as we're all off the Singapore Grand Prix!!!!

Dinner on the yacht!

Whatever - the yacht!! We chartered the yacht for a sunset cruise on Iain's birthday. It was fabulous!

The yacht was amazing! It had a fully fitted kitchen, bedrooms, gas bbq, etc. We sat on the top deck and enjoyed the cruise out past Sentosa, East Coast and over to Lazarus Island where we stopped to watch the sunset over the city skyscrapers. We then came back in for the fireworks at Sentosa before coming back to berth at Keppel Bay and enjoy our bbq.

We ate lots, drank lots and then sang Happy Birthday to Iain. What a wonderful night!

Marina Bay Golf Course

The next part of Iain's birthday surprises - we went golfing! The four of us: Iain, Euan, Alan and me went golfing at Marina Bay.

Our flight time was 12.01pm. We had great fun and I played my best game of golf so far :) Alan and Iain played against Euan and me but I think Alan and Iain won!

Marina Bay Golf Course has a super location. You play nine holes out towards the sea with all the ships and the back nine holes towards the city with all the skyscrapers.

Birthday boy!

Iain turns 30!

Iain went for Hawker the night before with the boys at Lau Pa Sat. All the boys were on board and knew to keep Iain away. Meanwhile Joan, Alan and Euan came to meet me after work! We went for some wine before going shopping and coming home to bake a cake and have the decorations ready!

Iain came home at 1am tipsy and excited desperate to know what was happening! Thankfully he feel asleep quickly!

Iain woke at 6.30am! It's my birthday what are we doing today? Please go back to sleep it's going to be a long day! Eventually he did fall back asleep again.

9am and I woke Iain up by throwing his boardies at him. Let's go for a swim! Iain wasn't very impressed but he did go swimming.

9.30am Iain and I can return to our condo. He opened the door and there was someone sitting on our sofa reading the Scotsman - it was Euan his big brother!!!! Iain couldn't believe it!

Iain then went to get a map from our spare bedroom only to walk in on his Mum and Dad!!!!! Iain was shocked!

We all sang Happy Birthday and Iain opened all of his presents. We drank champagne and ate bacon rolls. It was great fun and as you can see from the photos he was very spoilt!!

We then told him we were going golfing at Marina Bay.
